One More Reason it's Important to Use a Realtor
I recently transferred agencies to Lohmiller Real Estate. One of the things I really appreciate about LRE is our weekly workshops. We celebrate new listings, closed deals, birthdays and anniversaries. We share tips, talk about market trends and receive training. In general, we learn from and support each other. Please indulge me as I share one of this past week's celebrations.
That's right friends, I'm in the leaders for my office this month! |
In our workshop this past week, one of our lending partners shared a story about a client she recently worked with. They had opted to buy a home unrepresented by a Real Estate agent and were relying on her to do not only her job, but that of an agent, as well. She was overhwhelmed by the additional work and ultimately had a few things she couldn't help them with.
Long story short, a few days after closing, when it was time for her buyers to get the keys from the sellers and take posession of their new home...the sellers were nowhere to be found! The buyers called, texted, everything they knew to do, and couldn't get ahold of the sellers. They called their lender in a panic trying to figure out how to get into their new home. Unfortunately, since neither the seller nor the buyer was represented by a Real Estate agent, there was nothing the lender could do to help.
I know this sounds like a dramatic story, but it really does happen. How can you avoid it? Hire a Realtor! Whether the home you want is listed by another brokerage, new construction and being sold by the builder or being sold by an unrepresented seller (for sale by owner or FSBO), a Lohmiller Realtor can represent you, and will help you have the absolute best experience possible.
